SEEING THE MUSIC
My name is Graziano ‘Grano’ Salis. I’m an artist and designer, specialising in album artwork and layout for recording artists.
My family is from Italy, but I grew up in New York and I now live and work in London. It’s my job to help recording artists to help their listeners see the music.

DANDLEMÄNN
I designed the artwork for the digital and CD releases of the 2022 DANDLEMÄNN album ‘Old Lies’ and cut together the video for the title track from found footage.
I also worked on the artist’s previous release, the EP ‘The Monsters We Make’.
The mask was created especially for the shoot and video.

THE PERYLS
I designed the artwork and layout for The Peryls, for their 2011 release ‘A Man He Was To All The Country Dear’.
Cover shot by Alexander Williamson.
I also did the layout for the band’s 2013 self-titled album, working alongside photographer
Nicolai Amter.

BLACK RIVER HOUSE
I worked with BBC television personality and investigative journalist Peter Bramble on the artwork for his website.
The website published the recordings of The Secret Method who disappeared in 1996.

NEVER THE BRIDLE
I worked with Never the Bridle on their 2024 album ‘Bin Night Again’.
The artist provided the image and concept, while I did the typography and layout.

DRONESHIP / PLAY_SAFE
I designed the artwork for the digital release of ‘PLAY_SAFE’ by synthwave artist DRONESHIP.
I also designed the cassette artwork and the insert sticker included with it.
